CHAPTER FOUR

This picture of a duck represents how the characters in the novel are portrayed like different animals. People are named after animals such as, Leeches, Blackbuck, Ferrets, Bulls, and Duckweed. All these people lack human emotions , there for are given animal like qualities.During this chapter you are introduced to a lot of characters with animal names, that just goes to show how many of them aren't actually real people. Even though they seem perfect bad things happen to them such as dieing, drowning, jumping off of buildings, affairs, and other tragic events which really shows that they aren't perfect.
